More Fingers Jewelry Stand, OK
A hand shaped from a single block of beech, giving the OK sign, with one finger more than a hand should have. That sixth finger is the whole joke and the whole point: it makes room for one more ring. Rings slide over the fingers, bracelets and a watch hang from the wrist, a necklace drapes across the top, and on a bare dresser it stands on its own as a small piece of sculpture.
Senser Woodcraft is a small studio that makes everything in its catalog by hand: spoons, animal-shaped plates, wall clocks and these hands. The beech is pale and close-grained, sanded until it feels like a river stone, with the grain running the length of the fingers so they stay strong. No two are identical, because the grain decides.
We chose it because it does a practical job without looking like a jewelry organizer, and because it makes people smile from across the room. There is an open-palm version too, for anyone with more than a few rings.
Solid beech, 5.5 by 2.1 by 7 inches, about 1 pound. Wipe with a soft dry cloth and keep it away from water. Made by Senser Woodcraft.
