Since 2009, Moss & Fog has had one job: find the most beautiful, surprising, well-made things in the world and share them. For seventeen years, sharing meant pointing. Look at this lamp. Look at what someone made by hand in a studio you've never heard of.
The new shop is what happened when pointing stopped being enough.
We rebuilt it this summer. New design, new collections, new makers, and a higher bar for what earns a spot on the shelf. Every product here passed the same test we apply to the site: would a thoughtful person be glad this exists? If the answer was a shrug, we passed.

It helps to know how the place runs. Everything is held in our own inventory, so when you order something, we walk over and pack it ourselves. Nothing here drop-ships from a mystery warehouse. Most items are stocked in small numbers, a few in editions of exactly one, because small makers work in small batches. We'd rather sell out of something real than never run out of something forgettable.

Inside you'll find graphics from a Portland design legend, dinnerware that won Italy's top design award in 1964, candles from people who hand-dip every taper, a shelf of books we would keep on our own coffee table, and a growing set of printables we designed ourselves. After seventeen years of admiring other people's work, we finally started making some of our own.
