Terrazzo Gift Wrap, Teal and Blue
Terrazzo Gift Wrap, Teal and Blue
A sheet of terrazzo gift wrap on a deep teal blue ground, scattered with chips of yellow, coral, cream and green. It takes after the old model maker's papers once used to floor a dollhouse or a model railway station.
Jo Hadley runs Hadley, a small studio in the South West of England, and builds every design by hand in collage: antique etchings, marbled and paste papers, dollhouse papers and her own drawings. Each chip is torn from something: 1950s wallpaper, Victorian etchings, discarded drawings. It is good for presents, and just as good for collage, bookbinding or lining a drawer.
Sold as a single sheet, about 27 x 19 inches (69 x 48 cm). Lithographically printed with vegetable-based inks on 80gsm off-white Italian paper, and made in the South West of England.
